One of the names of the Buddha of Compassion is Guanshiyin, which means “the one who hears the cries of the world”.
In this webinar we will explore the connection between the ears and the heart, and the quality of essential compassion, which makes the heart tender and gentle, and gives us the capacity to open our ears to suffering – our own and others.
We will look at how essential compassion differs from ordinary compassion, and how opening to our own hurts allows the healing balm of loving kindness to flow.
