Diamond Approach Path Australia Ltd (DAA) is a Company Limited by Guarantee. We are a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) Act.
We are a community organisation that has responsibility for the day-to-day functioning of a collective of Diamond Approach® groups in Australia. DAA also provides care and support to the student body and the teaching team of these ongoing groups.
DAA is an integral part of the international network of teachings, organisations and people known as the Ridhwan® School. While DAA operates as an affiliated organisation with the Ridhwan Foundation, the umbrella organisation of the Diamond Approach, we are independent in our everyday functioning.

DAA is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information held or collected by DAA. - Personal information
Personal information held by DAA may include:

• contact details (including location, postal address, email address and phone numbers)

• bank account details
For students, the personal information held by DAA may also include:
• demographic information
• academic qualifications

• provide you with a range of services
• administer, manage and develop our services and programs. - When we disclose your personal information
For the purposes outlined above, we may at times disclose your personal information to organisations external to DAA. These organisations include:
• the Ridhwan Foundation
• the Ridhwan School
• the Diamond Approach Student Association Incorporated (DAASA Inc)
• outsourced service providers who assist us in the delivery of some of the services you receive, by providing functions such as:
• mailing systems
• information technology services
• retreat organising (especially accommodation and catering needs)
• government authorities, as required or authorised by law
Information disclosed to external organisations as described above is done on a limited basis. When provided as required by law, information is provided with the agreement from service providers that they will maintain the security of any information and not use personal information for any other purpose.
In addition, for DAA students, provided contact details will be included in the secure DAA student login section on the DAA Website, which is accessible only by the teachers and students of DAA. - Accuracy of personal information
DAA strives to keep accurate records of the personal information we collect. Accuracy depends on the information provided to DAA. Students can update their personal details by contacting the DAA Group Coordinators. Any members of the public who wish to query the accuracy of personal information held about them may contact DAA using the email address or telephone number in the Contact Us section of the DAA website. - Access to personal information
You have a right to access your personal information held by DAA, subject to the guidelines in the national privacy legislation. If you would like to do so, please contact DAA using the email address contact@diamondapproachaustralia.com. Your request will need to be put in writing for security and recording purposes.

Event Provider

Limits to Service
This DAA event is for educational purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice, diagnosis or treatment. DAA and its teachers and staff are not liable for possible harm incurred as a direct or indirect consequence of your involvement in this event.
Nothing presented in this event is intended to replace the advice of your general practitioner, psychiatrist or psychologist, or other qualified health care providers. If any questions about your physical or mental health arise from participating in this event, you are encouraged to seek advice and care from your treating health care professionals.
Conditions of Participation
Sharing access links and/or recordings with those who have not registered for this event is not permitted due to contractual arrangements with our teachers and other important contractual considerations.
DAA reserves the right at its sole discretion to refuse admittance of any individual into any event, or to terminate participation in any event, it offers at any time, in which case a refund of the registration fee will be provided.
DAA reserves the right to remove individuals from any event or other platforms when deemed necessary to preserve the well-being of the group and its members, teachers, and staff.
DAA maintains the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the content of its online presence resources including social media pages, comments, chat messages and website, and to remove any material or postings determined by DAA to be inappropriate, destructive, or otherwise objectionable, including but not limited to posts promoting other businesses or services, discussions not relevant to the specific event, hostile or inflammatory remarks, and may remove such posts at its sole discretion and without notice.
All DAA events are offered subject to our privacy policy.

CANCELLATION POLICY

- Access to the Event
Once you register, you will receive a Zoom link 24 hours prior to the start of the event, which is hosted in Sydney, Australia.
You will receive a link to the recording after the event whether you attended the live event in person or not.
- Cancellations and Refunds
A non-refundable fee of 2.2% of your payment will be deducted from your refund as credit card fees will not be refunded by our merchant service. Please note that refunds typically take up to seven (7) business days to complete and post to your statement.
MORE THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE THE START TIME: If you want to cancel your registration and receive a refund, you can do so up to 24 hours before the event start time.
Cancellations more than 24 hours in advance of the event will be refunded automatically.
LESS THAN 24 HOURS BEFORE THE START TIME: If you want to cancel your registration and receive a refund less than 24 hours before the event start time you can do so by email.
Cancellations less than 24 hours before the event (i.e., after you have been sent the Zoom link) will be refunded at the discretion of DAA.
